New guidance aims to restrict use of unregulated psychologists as expert witnesses in court | Family law

Family judges who appoint unregulated psychologists as expert witnesses in the courts should issue a judgment to explain their decisions, according to updated guidance designed to protect the public from inadequately trained professionals.

This appeal relates to the interpretation of the Immigration Rules, in particular the Tier 1 (Investor) Migrant regime (as in force in December 2017 – it has since been closed). This regime was designed to grant leave to remain to
