The job outlook is interesting in the United States. The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that current graduates will have anywhere from ten to fourteen jobs by the time they are thirty William M. Webster IV eight years old.

Even more interesting still is the fact that twenty-five percent of workers have been on their jobs about a year and fifty-percent have been at their jobs less than five years according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

With such interesting statistics for this country, it is hard to say what the future will hold for workers in the United States, or even what kind of job skills will be needed or most wanted during that time.

So far the trend has been workers going from job to job trying to find the right career for them and this is not a prospect that future job seekers are looking forward to.

It is uncertain what type of job skills one will need in the future or even what skills employers will be seeking the most of when it comes to employees.

The fact remains that education is still of vital importance in the job market, only today that education needs to be well rounded and include many different types of subject matter and skills. So it would be wise for students to study many different things in order to remain competitive in the job market.

There are also other basic job skills that are needed no matter what the future holds and they are personal skills, business skills and the like. There are also interpersonal skills one will need as well as time management and productivity skills, communication and leaderships skills. These skills are always important on the job and in life.
